We can fold, gather, bind and three knife trim your work suit your requirements. We also burst bind and section sew.
We can process sheets either pre folded or flat and can be complemented by Endorse folding allowing us to fold pre-stitched work. We also have facilities to 2 or 4 loop stitch
We can fold any sheet size from B1 on our conventional machines fitted with pafra glueing down to an incredibly small 18mm on our latest pharmceutical folding machine (please see latest news page)
Desk and wall calendars are collated on site handling sheets from A6 to SRA2 and bound automatically, with or without hangers. If necessary the calendars can be shrink wrapped individually after binding.
We are capable of binding books in a wide variety of styles including skip binding, half and full Canadian .Wire comes in a range of sizes and colours and is the preferred binding method for any book that is required to lie flat without breaking its spine
Spiral binding or coil binding is often used for publications requiring heavy usage such as educational books. There are 45 different colours to choose from and these again come in a wide range of sizes.
Comb Binding is another alternative form of binding where sheets can be added and removed without damaging the book
Die cutting, perforating, creasing and embossing can all be undertaken on our Heidelberg cylinders
We currently run two thermal laminating machines capable of sheet sizes from SRA4 up to B1 and handle run lenghts as short as 20 up to many thousands.
Films include gloss, matt and silk and sheets can be laminated either single or double sided. We also run a special film ideal for heavy coverage on digital work.
Lamination is the perfect way to add that extra durability and enhanced finish to book covers, presentation folders and calendar fronts
Almost any sheet size can be encapsulated in 5 different film thicknesses, an ideal process to protect products such as menus and wine lists which will be exposed to heavier use.
We also offer many other ancillary services such as numbering, guillotining, drilling, short run case binding and hand assembly work.
